Hello

Steph (they/them)

Psychotherapist, biodynamic craniosacral therapist, trainer and group facilitator

I am a psychotherapist, biodynamic craniosacral therapist, trainer and group facilitator.

Surely, the point of therapy is to bring more joy, love, connection and sense of freedom into our lives. Of course, we have to work through our issues to get there, but therapy can get bogged down in endless introspection without a clear sense of where we are trying to get to. We are all more than the sum of our parts. We are all much more than our wounding, our disturbance, or our strange and sometimes damaging behaviours. Everyone deserves to experience love. We can all find our way towards wholeness. I work with clients who want to make changes within themselves. Who want something more from their lives. Who want to find or deepen their connection to their essential selves. People who want to experience more joy in their lives, who want to strengthen their capacity to love and be loved. I have an honest, straightforward and creative approach to psychotherapy. Clients come from a broad range of backgrounds with a wide range of presenting issues.

At some level my clients know what they need to do to heal. To help them do this they need a safe space and a skilled person they can trust to support them. This is what I provide. I use a mixture of mindfulness, somatic, attachment and psychodynamic approaches held in a psychospiritual context.

I work with a wide range of clients who find themselves in a wide range of life situations. Whether you are in crisis, feeling overwhelmed or simply want to open more to yourself and the world, I welcome you into this space. I work with deep inner longing, with trauma, disturbance, dissociation and anxiety. I work with spiritual emergence, which can so often border on spiritual emergency and psychosis. I work with clients who are in transition, struggling to come to terms with their new identities. I welcome whatever you bring. This space, where together, we can struggle and explore. Where we can strive to get free of that which binds us in order to open to more experiences of love and joy. There is so much held in that liminal space between the body and the mind. When we can release our fear and allow our life force to flow freely we can experience joy and a sense of being at home within ourselves.

I, myself, identify as a non-binary queer person. I welcome people of all sexual orientations, genders, ethnic backgrounds and relationship styles. I am sex positive and kink aware.

I work with individuals, couples, and people in polyamorous or other forms of consensual non-monogamy.
